Michelle Obama has recently joined James Corden in his very popular Carpool Karaoke series.
The First Lady also discusses her life in the White House and what she’s going to miss when they leave the residence next January.
Then it was time for “This Is For My Girls”, a “girl power anthem” meant to promote full access to education worldwide. And to join them for it, up popped Missy Elliott in Corden’s backseat.
The song was written by Grammy award victor Diane Warren and also featured artists like Missy Elliot, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya and Lea Michele.
It was produced by AOL’s MAKERS, a women’s leadership platform, and was released in March after the first lady spoke at the South by Southwest festival in Texas.
“I rarely get to listen to music in the auto”, Obama says to Corden in a clip released on Monday.

She lamented that she doesn’t get to rock out to music in the vehicle often since she rarely rides in the passenger seat anymore, you know, being the first lady and all, so she was especially excited.
