San Antonio declares July 21 Tim Duncan Day
Duncan may have wanted to retire with little-to-no fanfare yet the city of San Antonio is clearly celebrating his greatness and thanking him for all he’s done for the Spurs on their own.

Mayor Ivy Taylor has declared July 21 “Tim Duncan Day” in honor of the Spurs legend and is encouraging all to wear and share some honorary apparel.
Off the court, Mr. Duncan, who has a psychology degree from Wake Forest University, created the Tim Duncan Foundation, which has donated more than $650,000 to Texas, Virgin Islands and North Carolina nonprofit organizations. The first 50 readers who show up to our office at 915 Dallas St.
