The Vermont senator appeared with Clinton at a campaign rally in New Hampshire.

“While Hillary Clinton supports making our tax code fairer, Donald Trump wants to give hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to the very wealthiest people in this country”, Sanders said.
The internet was quick to pick up on Sanders’ perceived discomfort, and rushed to quip about it.
Clinton is expected to officially be named the Democrat nominee next month.
Sanders proceeded to outline Clinton’s policy positions on the minimum wage, income inequality, racial discrimination and climate change, declaring that Trump would be disastrous on these issues.
“I have come here today not to talk about the past but to focus on the future”, Sanders said during a rally next to Clinton in Portsmouth, N.H.
While Finger says he will support Clinton when he goes to the polls, he is anxious for what other Bernie supporters will choose. While he mounted a surprising challenge for the Clinton campaign, the senator ultimately stood back for the sake of uniting the party against the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump. According to a campaign spokesman, Sanders remains a presidential candidate and is not dropping out of the race following his endorsement of Clinton.
“Together, we have begun a political revolution to transform America and that revolution continues”, Sanders continued in his speech, standing beside Clinton.
He added that come November, “Hillary Clinton is far and away the best candidate…”
While acknowledging the two have had disagreements, Sanders said both campaigns found common ground over the past weekend at the Democratic Platform Committee meeting in Orlando, Florida.
“It’s a little awkward to have someone that associates themselves with socialism to enforce someone that is a neo- liberal person”, said Hector Picon a Sanders supporter.
“Over the years I’ve gotten to know him as a colleague and a friend”, she said.

Putting aside the acrimony, Ms Clinton thanked Mr Sanders for his endorsement – even if their body language did not exude warmth and was downright awkward at times.
