Pippa Middleton Confirms She’ll marry In 2017

It’s Pippa Middleton’s turn to get married – the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge confirmed she is engaged to hedge fund manager James Matthews. The news broke after Pippa was photographed wearing a large diamond engagement ring earlier this morning. Pippa’s father, Michael Middleton – who vacationed with the couple in St. Bart’s this past January – shared his excitement over the pair’s impending nuptials on Monday, July 18.

According to Britain’s Press Association, Matthews proposed to Middleton over the weekend while visiting the Lake District in England.

She was reportedly “totally surprised” by the proposal.

On Tuesday, Pippa stepped out with her handsome engagement ring, given to her during a romantic proposal in England’s Lake District. Another close source revealed to People, “Her parents really do like him a lot and he spends quite a lot of time with the Middletons”.

She added: “Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible”.

Pippa began dating 40-year-old Matthews almost a year ago and the couple were recently spotted together at the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Like his future wife, he has a famous sibling – his younger brother Spencer Matthews is the star of the hit reality show, Made in Chelsea.
