The worldwide trailer for Disney’s highly anticipated animated film, “Moana”, was released this week, and it features a never-before-seen glimpse at the title character.

In the trailer, we see the cherubic titular character playing on the beach when a sentient ocean wave joins in on the fun. Now, the film’s worldwide trailer has arrived, and we get to see more of what baby Moana is like. Moana is due out November 23.
Set to a lilting, lullaby-like tune (please comment if you know the song or artist!), the trailer for Japan follows an adorable toddler-aged Moana as she has her first magical encounter with the ocean, which gently makes way for her and behaves nearly like a living character in the spot. Newcomer Auli’i Cravalho wil lend her voice to the new Disney princess, while Dwayne Johnson will be voicing Maui.
The clip then flashes forward to Moana as a teenager, who is about to set sail on a daring mission to save her people. John Musker and Ron Clements said they made several trips to Hawaii when planning the film, seeking insight into how growing up surrounded by an ocean affects a person’s point of view.

American actor and professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will voice the demigod Maui and 14-year-old Auli’i Cravalho will voice the heroine Moana.
