Nebraska GOP leaders disappointed Cruz didn’t endorse Trump

Cruz tried to link arms with Republicans at the party’s national convention Wednesday but was booed lustily by delegates when he ended his speech without offering Trump his endorsement or even saying he would vote for the NY billionaire.

But Cruz’s appearance left the arena unsettled for the night’s closing speakers. The theme of the Republican event Thursday is “Make America One Again” and Trump’s oldest daughter could help bring the GOP together.

“I know that many things were said during the campaign, ugly things”, Zamora said. “I can tell you, I’m not voting for Hillary”, said Cruz.

“I expect to hear Trump build on the messages of the last several days and look towards the general election now”, Grabins said.

“Ted’s speech was awesome”, Minor said Thursday. “And quite frankly, I think it was something selfish. It got me here”, he told ABC News. “And it’s his job to keep his word”.

Trump, well known to Americans as a reality TV star, has upset many in the Republican establishment with his free-wheeling style, frequent insults to rivals and controversial policy proposals such as imposing a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country and building a wall along the border with Mexico.

Cruz may have won the Texas primary but Trump came a close second. The National Review reported online Tuesday that Cruz wasn’t going to endorse Trump. He did say he would not vote for Clinton.

They will be on one side of the party.

As the crowd erupted into yells of anger and chants of “Trump!”

Night three of the 2016 GOP Convention continued on apace as the most overly dramatic parade of televised white people shenanigans since “Falcon Crest” went off the air. “I didn’t like what Trump said about him”, said Adryana Boyne, a Cruz delegate from Texas who has been public about her own disagreements with Trump in the past.

“Don’t come out on stage if you don’t want to endorse”, Eric Trump told NBC.

Donald Trump insists he is great at making deals, but some of his employees might not agree. He now trails the former secretary of state in most opinion polls and needs the lift a candidate traditionally gets from the party convention. The woman, Meredith McIver, who has ghost-written for Donald Trump before, said it was her fault: Melania had read her some ideas over the phone; she wrote them into her notes; added them into a draft; and they wound up in the speech. “Not only will you be able to watch gavel-to-gavel coverage of the conventions wherever you are, but for the first time, we’ll live stream the conventions in 360 degrees, so you’ll feel what it’s like to be in the center of the action”.

“This week we’re having some real anguished discussions”. Polling from the Texas Politics project sponsored by the University of Texas and Texas Tribune show Cruz entering the convention with a 75 percent favorability rating among Republicans and over 90 percent favorability among Tea Party identifiers. “I’ve never seen it this disunited”.
