Christie explains Trump support to New Jersey GOP delegation
On Tuesday, Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire Republican who advises Donald Trump on veterans’ issues, called for Hillary Clinton to be “put in the firing line and shot for treason”.

(Despite forgiving previous loans to the campaign, Trump lent the campaign an additional $1.8 million and donated another $2 million.) That translates to roughly $733,000 a day, on average, although much of it appears to have been concentrated at the end of the month.
Republican Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state lawmaker who serves as the Trump campaign’s co-chair on veterans affairs, told WRKO Tuesday that the Democratic candidate’s handling of security concerns in the run-up to the Benghazi terrorist attack in 2012, and her use of a private email server are treasonous activities – which are punishable under US law by death.
One of Trump’s advisers and delegates – a man Trump himself described as his “favorite vet” – called for Hillary Clinton to be shot, and the campaign said it’s “incredibly grateful for his support”?
“This whole thing disgusts me”.
Offered a chance to walk back the comments, Baldasaro refused, saying, “I stand by what I said….” “As far as I’m concerned, that’s information for the enemy. Find out what Donald Trump really thinks about you”, is HillaryClinton.com’s tease to the site.
“I’m not going to be the guy who is sitting by my phone waiting for the phone to ring so I can give a quote to some reporter so I can keep my name in the news”, he said.
The U.S. Constitution defines treason as “waging war” against the United States or “adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort”.
The filings show the Trump campaign employed just 74 people last month, a bare-bones operation compared with the more than 650 people Clinton had reported on her payroll in June.
“His constant escalation of outrageous rhetoric is in danger of mainstreaming the kind of hatred that has always been relegated to the fringes of American politics where it belongs”, the spokeswoman told the Globe.
However, she did hit Republicans and the convention for what she said were a dearth of ideas, including Trump’s own supporters. It’s probably why Baldasaro’s case has caught the attention of the Secret Service.
She pointed to ongoing struggles with Republican governors in the Midwest, accusing Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a former GOP presidential hopeful, of ripping “the heart out of public sector workers’ right to bargain”.
