Matt Damon attends new film premiere in Oklahoma City
The two stars shot to fame with their 1997 movie “Good Will Hunting”, and while they are keen to write another script together, the “Jason Bourne” actor admits their “grown-up lives” get in the way. “I mean for the marketing purposes of “Jason Bourne” – I mean he is a guy who runs around with a gun, so it’s not gratuitous marketing, but certainly in light of recent events I understand that impulse to want to tear the gun out of the picture”.

Matt Damon can’t work with Ben Affleck again until his friend stops keeping the “best roles” for himself. “The big issue is time for us”. Bearing in mind Langley’s enthusiasm to keep Damon and Greengrass churning out movies until they drop, here’s what the director said: “Last time I made the mistake of saying never again, which proved not to be true”.
“Oh No, I had dreams but, I didn’t…Ben (Affleck) and I woke up somewhere around 1998 and called each other and said, what do we do now?”
“Working with Robin nearly defies description”. It makes you wonder how many more conspiracies he can get caught up in before things start to get a bit stale.
“I was always kind of bewildered by Team America, I think because it’s hard for us to understand what our images are in public, I think we’re not good judges of that, and when I saw myself on screen just only able to say my own name and not really that well, I kind of wondered ‘Wow, is that how people perceive me?’ At that point I just kind of was like, I’m a screenwriter and an actor, and like, really?” “We knew it was original because he was making fun of crew members and pulling them into these bits. Everyone would laugh and laugh and laugh, and then everybody would get this boost of energy and go back to work”. “In my heart, that’s where he is, as this person that I’m deeply, deeply grateful [for that] came into my life and changed it for the better”.
“I’ve never considered a hot dog a sandwich because a hot dog is a hot dog”, Damon dished.
“Definitely pimp slapping a knife wielding assassin”, Damon admitted.
