Strong storms possible in parts of NH Friday afternoon and evening
And even when we don’t hit 100, the heat indices will likely get there as fairly oppressive humidity overtakes the area starting Friday. The chance of rain will be 40% with temperatures topping out in the low 90s and heat indices ranging from the upper 90s to low 100s. With the high humidity levels the Heat Index climbs to near 100 this afternoon.

Meteorologist Mark Larson says risky heat and high humidity are going to stick around through Saturday but hang in there, a change in our steamy weather is on the way Sunday.
Monday: Hot, humid. Chance afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The threat is low but some of these storms may produce heavy rain, strong winds & hail.
Saturday remains very hot and humid.
Friday night, showers & isolated thunderstorms continue. Some sunshine returns for Monday. Temperatures will quickly rise and it will be a toasty one with high temperatures between 90 and 95 degrees in most locations. We can look for highs in the 90s for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Storms could potentially bring strong winds, hail and lightning. The storms are moving along the Hi-Line, but a rogue storm is possible pretty much anywhere in the state this evening.

Saturday and Sunday will both be hot and sunny. Showers and storms will help to drop temperatures in the 80s at times each afternoon. Heat Index temperatures will push to the 105-110 range Thursday and Friday. Remaining warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s. High: Low to mid 90s.
