The Fever (12-12), who are sixth in the AP WNBA power poll, wouldn’t let NY couldn’t get closer than nine the rest of the way. Tina Charles turned her warmup shirt inside out yesterday, that way she could still make her stance but not be fined because she was wearing the team’s normal warmup shirt.

This continues what’s been a disappointing period of time in the WNBA. The school says in a statement released by a spokesman Thursday night that it is “undertaking a Title IX review” but that “some of the reported allegations go beyond the scope of Title IX”. In a laissez-faire manner, the WNBA made a decision to not prohibit the shirts for that week’s games.

“I dont see why there would be a reason for those ladies to get fined, ” Knicks star Carmelo Anthony said at USA Basketball training camp in Las Vegas. “If you’re going to do something, stand strong on it, stand firm on it, do it from the beginning”. Although they continued to wear adidas, who endorses the WNBA, any additional words or creativity added to their apparel is considered going against their uniform policy.

“It’s a right or wrong issue”, Indiana Fever player rep Briann January insisted. The majority of our players care about this. “We would just hope that the league would be more open to working with the players because the majority of our players are passionate about this”. Mr. Carlos and Mr. Smith were suspended from the U.S. team and banned from the Olympic village.

In the wake of shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the league organized efforts to benefit the city, and encouraged its teams and players to do the same.

“Absolutely”, Wright said. “You know what I mean”. They also held a press conference. “This is important to us.”. I’ll say it again.
