“Kabali” is a viscerally violent gangster film and amid all the bloodshed, betrayal and revenge, it’s the story of a gangster who is desperate to reunite with his family after being locked up for 25 years. It had organised the film’s premiere (Tamil version) on Thursday, July 21, at the Federal theatre in Jalan Raja Laut which was graced by many dignitaries and 100s of Rajinikanth’s fans. Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte played the lead roles in the film. T-shirts and jackets sporting the superhero’s face and his trademark dark glasses were hot favorites.
