Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane was handcuffed by Buffalo Police late Friday morning and is facing charges for alleged incidents at a downtown bar last month.

Kane’s attorney, Paul Cambria, told 7 Eyewitness News ” [Kane] has denied any wrongdoing.
“Without a doubt, he plans to defend himself against these charges”, Cambria said, according to the newspaper.
Earlier this year, Kane, 24, was involved in separate incident in a Buffalo bar where he was accused of sexual assault on a 19-year-old Buffalo woman.
In the most recent incident, Kane is charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass and four counts of non-criminal harassment. The other woman filed a report saying that Kane grabbed her by the arms and forced her out of Bottoms Up! on W. Chippewa St.
He’s accused of grabbing a woman’s throat and pulling her hair, then trying to push her into a vehicle while she was with her two friends outside a Buffalo bar on June 24. Kane also allegedly refused to leave the bar and attempted to provoke a physical confrontation with the bar’s bouncer. A second woman accused the 6-foot-2, 204-pound Kane of trying to force her from the bar.
Sources tell News 4 that pictures inside the bar are being used as evidence.
The Sabres have already disciplined Kane once by suspending him for one game in February after the player slept in and missed practice.
