Almost 300 Southwest Airlines flights have been canceled Friday, as the airline deals with the fallout of a computer glitch that grounded its planes Wednesday and caused headaches for passengers Thursday.
Southwest “began experiencing intermittent performance issues” Wednesday afternoon, which prompted a temporary halt to all flights that had not yet left the gate, according to the airline.
About 300 flights had been canceled as of this morning mainly because flight crews have been displaced as a result of the technology problem.
