What’s the Republicans’ message by nominating Trump?
Walker said he is unconcerned with Trump’s past attacks against his own record in Wisconsin.

Cruz left the stage putting on a fearless face, wrapping up his remarks and thanking the audience while Trump entered the venue and gave his formal rival a thumbs-up, sarcastically venting his anger.
“What does it say when you stand up and say vote your conscience”. He said if he had run as an independent he would have defeated the Republican candidate.
“I don’t know what the future is going to hold”. But he also clearly has decided that Donald Trump is likely to lose big in November and made a decision to put all his chips on that, believing that a Trump disaster will allow him to inherit the party in 2020.
“If he does that, it doesn’t matter that the Bushes or Romney or others don’t have a presence of the convention”, he said via phone from the convention, referring to former President George W. Bush and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney who refused to attend due to their disagreement with Trump.
Trump cited Chicago’s gun fatalities since President Barack Obama took office in 2008 to make a point that homicides are out-of-control.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz was booed by the crowd at the Republican National Convention on July 20.
A large number of delegates tried to shout down the senator – and there were more boos than applause as he left the stage.
In a rare protest on the event floor on Monday, delegates called for a roll call vote on the convention rules.
But as you heard in Lisa’s reporting, it’s been a tumultuous few days and there are a lot of sore feelings after Ted Cruz’s speech last night, so people here today are ready to turn the page.
And Pence, who introduced himself as “a Christian, a conservative and a Republican – in that order” touched on his faith.
Despite Trump’s assertion that he “joined the political arena so the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves”, African-Americans continue to shun his campaign.
I’ve been to most of the GOP conventions since 1980, and I’ve never seen anything like it. It didn’t help matters that instead, he gave Republicans a green light to not vote for Trump. But an insult was answered.
The irony of Cruz’s speech Wednesday night remained that just little more than a year ago, Cruz was considered the outsider in the race for the White House. Trump surrogate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Wednesday night called it “an very bad, selfish speech”, after all.
Susan Hutchison, chair of the Washington delegation, said she confronted Cruz after his speech and called him a ‘traitor to the party’.
Now, I understand why Senator Cruz did what he did.
“Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a GQ shoot in his ad”. According to Politico, a super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton blasted the text out on its email list.
“This man is a pathological liar. You know, he embarrassed himself pretty quickly in this”. There are 2,472 delegates attending, selected at state and congressional district conventions, and representing each U.S. state and territory.
