Manchester United agree Paul Pogba fee with Juventus

United play Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night before a derby clash with rivals City – and another clash between Mourinho and Pep Guardiola – on Monday.

United have brought in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly so far this summer, with a central midfielder soon to swell the numbers further – increased competition that Shaw believes his team-mates relish.

Ed Woodward is trying to broker a double transfer of Pogba and Bonucci.

While holding Pogba talks, Juventus told Manchester United that they value Bonucci at close to £51m as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea also weigh up whether or not to make a move for the defender.

The Daily Mirror also chuck in the fact that Pogba has accepted a five-year contract worth €13million per season, meaning he’ll be taking home roughly £210,000-a-week after tax at Old Trafford.

“When I first did it the first thoughts that went through my head were ‘am I going to play football again?’ and ‘how long am I going to be out for?'” said Shaw.

“They should be better suits by measure rather than going to a shop and just buying a size that may fit you well or not so well”.

Mourinho said he had three options lined up for his fourth big signing since taking over at Old Trafford.

“The players are the same – no two are the same”.

“In spite of being out of the Euros one match before the English guys, everything is different”.

“I need to change the profile of the team in relation to other dynamics”.

United players trained at Shanghai Stadium in the presence of local fans despite the scorching 39 degrees Celsius outside. But I think at the end of the day, now it is a new start for United.

“I don’t confirm and I don’t deny”, said Mourinho.
