Ted Cruz’s Cleveland Rally Interrupted by Donald Trump’s Plane
“He was my guy, but my guy made a pledge to endorse the nominee”, said David Chung, a Cedar Rapids delegate who came to Cleveland hoping to be part of “an insurgency” to get Cruz nominated if Trump’s support faltered.

Braedon Wilkerson, a delegate from Olympia, said Hutchison and other GOP leaders had put heat on Cruz supporters to respect decorum and avoid embarrassing the party during Trump’s convention. He walked off. That’s what I saw.
He also declared that, two days after Cruz was loudly booed at the Republican National Convention for not endorsing the new nominee, he would never accept the Texas senator’s backing.
In often-rambling remarks Friday, the candidate seemed ebullient after delivering a focused acceptance speech Thursday night that drew warm and loud applause within the Cleveland arena. Trump said that Cruz changed his speech at the last minute and that was “dishonorable”. He’s 44 years old.
“Ted Cruz thinks he’s Ronald Reagan”, Stone said.
Former Alaska Governor and 2008 Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin sent a written statement to Breitbart on Thursday, saying that Ted Cruz should “delete [his] career”.
“I’m looking at this as a Supreme Court race”, she said, referring to the future president’s role in nominating justices for the high court.
He also suggested that if Cruz were to seek the White House, he would set up a super PAC to oppose him. In one instance, Trump circulated an unflattering image of Heidi Cruz, the senator’s wife, along with the caption, “A picture is worth a thousand words”.
Roe said he hasn’t seen the convention speech.
When asked if King agreed with Gingrich’s speech, he said yes.
Washington delegate Marc Perez said reports of the confrontation “caused many of us, who already felt very upset over the blatant disrespect towards our exceptionally principled conservative candidate, Ted Cruz, to feel even more hurt”. “He’ll be out there in the vanguard again”.
“I think (she’s) the best thing he’s got going and his kids if you want to know the truth.” he continued during the almost 15-minute ramble about Cruz. But as for this fall’s election, he said conservatives will be judging Trump by his actions. Hutchison said she didn’t recall Cruz’s response.

While Cruz was still speaking, Trump walked onto the convention to distract the audience. “I didn’t boo but a lot of people did”.
