Excessive Heat Warning continues through the weekend
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for the Chicago area for Thursday afternoon through Friday evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the area, effective until 8 p.m., Saturday.
The advisory includes all counties from all from the IN border to the Cleveland and Akron area.
Heat exhaustion is a mild form of heat-related illness and can occur after several days of exposure to high temperatures with inadequate fluids.
The Ohio Department of Health says the elderly, infants and children, and people with chronic medical conditions need to take extra care in avoiding heat-related stress.
The best place to be in the state today may be in southwest Alabama, where it will still be hot, but closer-to-seasonal hot, according to the weather service in Mobile.
