Michelle Obama Raps Alongside Missy Elliot
Michelle Obama has proven yet again why she’s not just the coolest U.S. first lady ever – she’s the coolest lady, ever.

She bounced around to Beyoncé’s hit, “Single Ladies” next, (although we would’ve to have seen her perform Bey’s “Formation” for obvious reasons).
After discussing Secret Service code names (Michelle Obama is Renaissance, Barack Obama is Renegade), Michelle got serious to talk about her upcoming trips overseas to promote the Let Girls Learn initiative. President Obama’s wife is looking so pretty in red summer dress and having a white floral print on it which makes her more lovely.
Obama says she’s only been able to “rock out” from the passenger’s seat of a vehicle one time in 7 1/2 years – when her daughter Malia learned how to drive.
Who knows what will happen in November, and what a First Lady Melania Trump or First Dude Bill Clinton will sing when it’s their turn in Corden’s hot seat. “But the freedom that we’ll get in exchange for the privileges and the luxuries… We were making honey to put in our lemonade“.
In the segment, Corden pays a visit to the White House and ends up picking up Michelle Obama under the guise of a tour of the White House property. The song, which was written by Grammy-winner Diane Warren and features artists Kelly Clarkson, Missy Elliott, Janelle Monae, Kelly Rowland, Lea Michele and Zendaya, was produced by AOL’s Makers. “So we dropped her vocals in”.
Elliott first met Obama during the First Lady’s keynote speech in Austin, Texas.
And here’s a lesson: when Missy comes around, it’s blasphemy not to spit some “Get Ur Freak On”.
