The journalist blasted the younger sibling of the Duchess of Cambridge for shamelessly flashing her, rumoured to cost, £250,000 diamond ring when leaving her house just days after her partner James Matthews popped the question.

It was reported on Tuesday (July 19) that Pippa, the sister of British royal Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was engaged to Wednesday after her 40-year-old beau proposed during a romantic weekend getaway in the U.K.’s Lake District on Sunday (July 17).

Pippa’s sister Kate and her husband Prince William have also shared their excitement, with a spokesman for Kensington Palace saying that they are both “absolutely delighted” for Pippa and James.

According to Britain’s Press Association, Matthews proposed to Middleton over the weekend while visiting the Lake District in England.

Pippa began dating 40-year-old Matthews almost a year ago and the couple were recently spotted together at the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

I knew there was a reason she stopped calling.

The younger sister of Kate Middleton is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, James Matthews.

On Tuesday, Pippa stepped out with her handsome engagement ring, given to her during a romantic proposal in England’s Lake District.

Pippa Middleton shot to fame as the maid of honour at her sister’s wedding to Prince William in 2011. “They are very fond of James and they are sure he and Pippa will be very happy”.

The proposal reportedly took friends and family by surprise, but Pippa’s dad couldn’t be happier.
