The team hasn’t confirmed the surgery or roster status.
Watt, 27, underwent a procedure to fix a herniated disk in Houston on Tuesday and has already begun the initial stage of his rehabilitation, according to persons familiar with his situation. Watt had surgery in January and was rehabbing from that procedure before injuring his back.
