The spotlight may have shifted from One Direction to former-member Zayn Malik in recent weeks, but that hasn’t stopped fans of the pop megaband from sending their surprise new single to the top of the UK single charts. Though the song was only released a few days ago, it’s already broken multiple iTunes and Spotify records, as Gossip Cop has reported.
The boyband – Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – have been photographed at the Space Centre in Houston, Texas, where they are shooting the promo for their new single, Drag Me Down.
Liam, who has written a song for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and been in the studio with Pharrell Williams, has some idea of what he’d like to do during the break. The host asked the Brit hottie about it, to which he responded, “Obviously it’s a very exciting time”.
“You just can’t do enough for some people, I guess, ‘ he wrote on Twitter, seemingly alluding to Perrie”.
“I’ve been doing a lot of things, you know trying to get into the producing side of it which is pretty cool”.
