The Walking Dead Producers Talk About Season 7

This one (below), is for the Walking Dead’s upcoming season 7, and it looks extremely intense and very interesting as Rick and company are spotted having to yield to Negan’s vicious rules!

Morgan, who was filming his stint as Jason Crouse on the final season of The Good Wife when he joined The Walking Dead cast, said he was initially a bit anxious his new cohorts wouldn’t want to befriend him, again, given that his character means at least one of them loses his or her job thanks to Negan’s deadly bat.

This exciting tidbit was dropped today at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Among the stars at the panel were Andrew Lincoln – who plays the central character, Rick Grimes – Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun.

The trailer introduces King Ezekiel, a new character that fans of The Walking Dead’s comic series will know well, who is played by actor Khary Payton.

There was also a Q&A session (seen below), where the actors were able to talk about their characters more in-depth. “It affected me in a way I didn’t expect”.

“They don’t see the dead as a bad thing”, said “Fear the Walking Dead” executive producer Dave Erickson.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9/8 EST on AMC.

It was a little moment of levity in a panel where the fact that one of the characters will be dying horribly as soon as the season begins hung over the proceedings.
