The panel kicked off Friday with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan menacingly stalking behind several cast members with his villainous character Negan’s barbed-wire bat.

But there is some hope, as Morgan and Carol have entered The Kingdom, the stronghold of a man calling himself Ezekiel. In the 100th issue of The Walking Dead, Negan beats Glen to death with Lucille, but after last season’s fake death that actor Steven Yeun had to keep quiet, the show could pivot into the unexpected and off someone else.

AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 9 p.m. EST.

The choice made by the showrunners to make the animal entirely computer generated is rather obvious. He also has a mammoth tiger as a pet. Even if certain fans stop watching after the season premiere of The Walking Dead, that first night will certainly have a large audience.

While there is the danger of looking goofy, it should be pointed out the thing looks pretty darn menacing.

“They don’t see the dead as a bad thing”, said “Fear the Walking Dead” executive producer Dave Erickson.

The two co-stars and pals also discussed how it’s getting easier to deal with the constant barrage of questions about the Season 6 finale cliffhanger, and said they’ve come to have a whole new appreciation for that cliffhanger.

The second part of the second season will have the characters trying to survive on land after the disastrous boat trip they had at the beginning of season 2.

Nicotero did talk a bit about shooting the season opener, saying “It affected me in a way I didn’t expect. Rick was reduced to no control”.

Last year’s season ended with 11 people kneeling in front of Negan, waiting on their future, or lack thereof as he decided which one to kill.

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 is set to return on October 23 and will be internationally launched on October 24 on FOX channels. Will Rick and company see Ekeziel as a friend, or will they have problems with The Kingdom?
