English rock band the Rolling Stones has again accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for using their song “You can’t always get what you want” at a event without seeking their permission.

Both the Stones and Clapton’s former band, The Yardbirds, used to perform at the Crawdaddy Club in Richmond, Surrey. In May, Trump walked out for his IN primary victory speech to “Start Me Up”, with a rep for the band telling Billboard at the time, “The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs”.
The Rolling Stones could also play gigs in Europe next year after Keith revealed it was “on the menu somewhere” and he was hoping to bring the band back to the UK.
Credit: Claude GassianIn other Rolling Stones news, BBC News reports guitarist Keith Richards confirmed during a United Kingdom radio interview Friday that Eric Clapton did indeed do some recording for the band’s upcoming studio album. They said: “We have requested Trump cease all use immediately“.
Queen, Adele, House of Pain, R.E.M. and Earth, Wind and Fire have all spoken out against their music being wrongfully repurposed by the Trump campaign.
Meanwhile, he used George Harrison’s song “Here Comes The Sun” during the entrance of his daughter Ivanka.

The Stones then arrived at the venue to Trump conducting a press conference and following this discovery, the tour manager Michael Cohl asked him to stop. “Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign”.
