Last night’s convention finale-the most anticipated of the four night event-saw Trump himself, as well as his prized orchid/oldest daughter, Ivanka, take the stage to wow the teeming crowds.
After pausing for applause from the audience, Trump went off his speech script to acknowledge the support of his statement from Republicans gathered in the arena.
“As a Republican it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said”, he added. “I will fight for this, too, right alongside of him”.
In an interesting twist, there were moments when Ivanka’s speech sounded more in line with Hillary Clinton’s policies than her father’s.
