And efforts to present Trump’s family members as his character witnesses were mired by revelations that a section of his wife’s speech contained plagiarized material. Union officials announced Thursday they had won a labor dispute against Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas over union membership.
The complaint filed on behalf of two employees working to unionize under Nevada’s powerful Culinary Workers Union Local 226 alleged that one employee was sacked and another was denied a transfer to a full-time job due to their union support. “I mean if that was The New York Times, they would have gotten Pulitzer Prizes for their reporting”. Mrs. Trump’s address was otherwise distinct from the speech that Mrs. Obama gave when her husband was being nominated for president.

Cruz began his first White House bid by very early in the process bear hugging the most loyal elements of the Republican Party, hoping it would solidify their support for him later on. Politics can get downright nasty, but there comes a time when the party must unite for a common goal, which is to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Ted Cruz wasn’t going to endorse Donald Trump in his speech at the Republican convention, it was also clear that Cruz’s speech was the only one that was going to be discussed the next day.
