Ivanka Trump’s Dress For RNC Speech: Stuns In Chic Frock

Trump has sometimes mixed his campaign and his businesses.

Trump often gushes about Ivanka, her intelligence and business acumen, and her siblings acknowledge that she is the apple of her father’s eye. She appears on a national stage wearing her designs, while her site, which defines the brand as “a lifestyle concept dedicated to women who work”, includes first-person dispatches from the convention.

During her speech at the Republican National Convention on July 21, Ivanka Trump referred to her father Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, as a champion of the people (video below).

Yet she treads a careful line, supporting her father but equally careful never to say anything controversial, as she maintains a carefully curated public image as businesswoman and entrepreneur. “In the same office in Trump Tower where we now work together, I remember playing on the floor by my father’s desk, constructing miniature buildings with Legos and erector sets, while he did the same with concrete, steel and glass”.

Donald Trump will “focus on making affordable childcare affordable and accessible for all”, Ivanka Trump told the excited crowd.

But a recent investigation by the Boston Globe explained how Trump’s campaign employs far fewer women than men and also paid them smaller salaries.

“American families need relief…”

Earlier in the day she rehearsed her speech and was all smiles in a bold red sheath which featured short sleeves.

In an interesting twist, there were moments when Ivanka’s speech sounded more in line with Hillary Clinton’s policies than her father’s.

However, the presidential nominee has failed to win women over after a series of high-profile gaffes.

Ivanka Trump again tried to reach out to millennials by talking about student debt, aguing that her father “can’t bear the injustice of college graduates who are crippled by student debt”.

“I have seen this man up close”. Shin talked about her parents who were immigrants to America, saying her parents allowed her to realize the beauty of the American dream. She said that “motherhood” is the factor behind the biggest pay gap – and she’s right – and promised that her dad would pass labor reform to protect women. He is honest and he is real. And while the campaign promises she made are thoughtful and inspiring, it’s hard to believe that her father will carry them out.

Presenting her father, who officially accepted his nomination as Republican candidate for U.S. president, she said: “I have loved and respected him my entire life and I could not be more proud tonight”.
