Rihanna To Play Marion Crane In ‘Bates Motel’

“I read this article in which she said she was a fan of ‘Bates Motel, ‘” executive producer Carlton Cuse explained at the convention. He will become an increasingly unreliable narrator and through his point of view, we’re going to see a lot of her.

With Farmiga still being in the fifth season, she’ll very well have a part as one of Norman’s alternate personalities, which has been showcased throughout the earlier seasons. In particular, she recalled, “there was a really intimate moment that never ended up making” it into the show.

And not only that – Rihanna is in fact taking on the iconic role of Marion Crane aka the scremaing girl in the shower.

The 28-year-old singer is apparently a huge fan of the A&E suspense drama.

Rihanna will play Marion Crane, a character from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic Psycho, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I read this article in which she said she was a fan of Bates Motel [so] we asked and she said yes”, he explained.

“Loved the last season of Bates Motel but Rihanna’s “acting” was awful in Battleship”. It somehow explains the twisted mother and son relationship of Norma and Norman Bates which have somehow aligned with the actual “Psycho” film per Screen Rant. Max Thieriot will make his director debut in the middle of the season, and Nestor Carbonell will helm the series for the third time. Given what happened to Norma Bates at the end of season 4, it only made sense for there to start to be some sort of endgame for the series.

The fifth season will be the last season for A&E’s Bates Motel. The exciting news was announced first over the weekend at Comic-Con 2016 by the series showrunners Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse on Friday. “Yes, so all you Comic-Con fans, all you Bates Motel fans, stay tuned!”, the You Needed Me singer added.
