More boos could be heard on the floor of the convention as Cruz left the stage. On Wednesday, July 20, Donald’s former opponent Ted Cruz trolled the convention when his speech took a turn toward the end as he urged delegates to “vote with your conscience” and failed to endorse the Republican presidential candidate. “Honestly, he may have ruined his political career”. Ted Cruz’s address at at last night’s convention ceremonies as self-serving-and jabbed at the Tea Party darling’s history of hostility toward the Empire State.

Jeers erupted from Trump supporters in the crowd, and Cruz’s wife, Heidi, was escorted out by security amid the shouting.

“After 15 years of wars in the Middle East, after trillions of dollars spent and thousands of lives lost, the situation is worse than it has ever been before”, Trump said, though he did not mention that those wars started under Obama’s Republican predecessor, George W. Bush. Unity? There wasn’t one person in the room, including the Texas delegation, right?

“I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves”. “I can’t really imagine him on a white horse, but that seems to be what he is telling us: ‘I alone can fix it'”.

“There are always people who want to go play their own way and go sit in the corner and suck their own thumb”, he said.

And that wasn’t the only criticism he made of the presumptive Democratic nominee, whom he has dubbed “Crooked Hillary” throughout his campaign.

“I thought it was fabulous”, Washington state GOP chairman Susan Hutchison, who earlier called Ted Cruz a “traitor to the party” for not endorsing Trump, reportedly said.

Yet, “it doesn’t matter unless we beat Hillary Clinton”.

The no-longer-presumptive presidential nominee also thanked running mate Mike Pence, saying the IN governor has helped him strengthen ties to the Republican Party.

“See, now, if I don’t win, I’m going to blame Mike, right?”

“Senator Cruz being upset with the fact that Mr. Trump attacked his wife by saying that she was unattractive and then attacking his father by accusing him to be part of the Kennedy assassination – with no apology – that to me says a lot about a man”, he said.
