Clinton Receives Sanders Endorsement Ahead of NYC ‘Hamilton’ Fundraiser
After months of resisting, Bernie Sanders has officially endorsed former rival Hillary Clinton for president.

“Now, with your help, we are joining forces to defeat Donald Trump, win in November and together build a future we can all believe in”. “I served with her in the US Senate and know her as a fierce advocate for the rights of our children”, he said.
“Her being the first female president I don’t think is a good first person”, said 24-year-old Joel Demianew.
Cheryl Marshall, a Sanders delegate from Columbia County, said Clinton will fight for such key issues as “raising the minimum wage, lowering the cost of college and making health care more affordable”.
“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process, and I congratulate her for that”, Sanders said.
A recent poll by PEW Research showed 9 percent of Sanders Supporters endorsing Donald Trump, much to the chagrin of Clinton supporters like Terrence Carroll.
Earlier that morning, the Trump campaign had sent out an email to subscribed supporters that outlined five reasons “Sanders supporters will never be excited about Hillary Clinton”, according to Politico.
Sanders’ plans to continue campaigning and spread his message.

The UVM senior says he’s disappointed with Sanders decision to endorse Clinton, but he understands the Senator’s predicament. “This campaign is about the needs of the American people”, Sanders said in May 2015. Trump’s campaign is also trying to woo disgruntled Sanders supporters who are fed up with the establishment. “They are not happy that he is selling out!” We stand together because we’re stronger together.
