Two militants, two army personnel killed near LoC in Kashmir
In occupied Kashmir, Indian army killed two more Kashmiri youth during a siege and search operation at Tangdhar in Keran area of Kupwara district, today. There have been 18 ceasefire violations along the Indo-Pak border in July in which four persons, including three jawans, were killed and 14 others injured.

Troops noticed a group of militants trying to?sneak into this side from across the LoC at Jumagund Nar in?Keran sector, an Army officer said.
The troops challenged the militants who indulged in indiscriminate firing.
The Army said the operation is still underway but is slowed down because the area is under dense forest cover. There was no immediate report of any casualty on either side, he said.
Troops confronted a group of militants moving close to the LoC, an army officer said.

The defence official said that the two injured jawans were from the 21 Rashtriya Rifles and were immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment where their condition is stated to be stable.
