Iowa GOP leader says there’s anger, disappointment at Cruz
It’s Trump’s house and they are invited guests and they’re just throwing a fit about Ted Cruz. “And that a very left-leaning Ginsburg clone is put on the Supreme Court next spring because I couldn’t bring myself to support Donald Trump”. Since Cruz exited the race, he has given no indication that he is moving closer to endorsing Trump, as evidenced again Monday in an interview with Politico.

Gary Wiegert was listening with anticipation as Texas Sen.
As Trump prepares to formally accept the GOP nomination here Thursday night, it’s Cruz who is attracting the spotlight. That in itself reveals how the Republican Party can form a united front for the presidential election in November.
Kaufmann says he personally questions who advised Cruz on his speech.
“We’re going to win NY”. But Cruz did not deliver. “Ted, stay home, relax, enjoy yourself”, Trump said. Stand and speak and vote your conscience.
Trump then made a surprise appearance in his private box, glaring at the stage as Cruz departed.
Benton has helped count delegate votes and tamp down a mini-rebellion over convention rules, the newspaper said. What specifically did he say that ignited such a tumultuous uproar that Heidi Cruz needed to be escorted from the convention floor for safety concerns? Roberts says giving Clinton a pass because she’s a woman would be sexist. “I’m not ashamed of that”.
Minor also said Wednesday he was not troubled by heavy criticism of Democrat Hillary Clinton at the convention.
“It’s time to beat Hillary Clinton and keep our country safe, secure our borders, enforce our laws”.
He asked delegates on the floor, the supposed jury of her peers, to answer “guilty” or “not guilty” when posed with a series of political scenarios which Clinton was involved.
The crowd answered guilty to every charge, and chanted “lock her up” throughout Christie’s indictment. But as for this fall’s election, he said conservatives will be judging Trump by his actions.
“He’s always a forceful personality”, he said of Christie.
“I am not in the habit of supporting someone who attacks my wife and attacks my father”, he said. They’re not saying, ‘Oh that wasn’t really my father.’ It was a little hard to do.
But that’s why Trump’s press conference was genius, and why he still remains a contender in November, despite everything, including this week’s awful Republican convention.
Loomos said people fed up with establishment politics are key to a Trump victory in November, especially locally.
“They haven’t been gracious winners and they haven’t reached out to the Cruz people at all”, Sorrell said.
Another voting block Loomos said Trump could potentially tap are younger Republicans. “They’re just begging Trump to give them that reason”.
“I sensed a great deal more unity coming out of that building last night, though maybe he didn’t intend it that way”, Hancock said.
Now it’s time to move on, Buchanan said.
“He hasn’t run a traditional campaign, and that’s resonated with a lot of people.” he said.
“I would hope everyone at this particular point in time can be for our nominee”, Perry told reporters after a breakfast with Texas delegates.
