The 27-year-old entrepreneur was found dead at his home in the island’s capital, Douglas, on July 30.

The newspaper’s article goes on to state that Stuart had suffered from asthma for a number of years, and though we would assume he believed his condition was under control, evidently the rapidity with which a sufferer can deteriorate during an attack would perhaps have meant he was unable to summon help.

“We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time”.

The 27-year-old, who was born in Plymouth, died from the respiratory condiont from which he had suffered for many years.

He was knocked out at the interviews stage and the series was eventually won by Stella English, but he became a cult favourite for his catchphrases and his description of himself as “Baggs the brand”.

Stuart Baggs’ cause of death has been revealed as the results of asthma.

She stressed the importance of people with asthma recognising the early warning signs and knowing what to do should symptoms get worse.

The Apprentice boss Lord Sugar said: “Terrible news Stuart Baggs has died”.

‘The family would like to gather as many photographs of you all wearing blue in his memory so that we have as big a collection as possible to be shared when he is put to rest. “My honest condolences to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of “The Apprentice” (sic)”.
