Christie told the crowd that, as a former federal prosecutor, he could hold Clinton accountable for her actions, since the current administration has not done so.
“Guilty!” they chanted every time, often breaking out in spontaneous “lock her up”, chants. He said he’s laying out what he says are facts about her to “a jury of her peers”. Christie rattled off a number of instances where he says she Hillary’s Clinton’s “flawed judgment” contributed to a growing threat against the United States. She lied about her server.
Christie also didn’t miss the opportunity to hit Clinton over the email scandal during her time as secretary of state that prompted an FBI investigation. “We need to demand more than what Hillary Clinton offers for America. It is our obligation to stop Hillary Clinton now and never let her within 10 miles of the White House again”.
Clinton wrote a college thesis about Alinsky and has said she agreed with some of his opinions on social change, but disagreed with his view that the system could only be changed from the outside. The FBI Director said that was untrue.
Manafort even tried to blame Clinton for the controversy over Melania Trump lifting passages of her convention remarks from a speech that Michelle Obama delivered in 2008.
Reuters is reporting that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie told Trump donors in a closed door meeting that the nominee would seek to reform the Civil Service Act to make it easier to fire Obama political appointees.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks during a press conference at Turnberry Golf course in Turnberry, Scotland, June 24.
“It’s called burrowing”, Christie said.
Following his own failed presidential bid, Christie became the first among Trump’s former opponents to endorse his campaign.
He was also on Trump’s final shortlist as a potential running mate, until Trump chose Indiana Gov. Mike Pence last Friday.

“I find his attitude – that there is one set of rules for Chris Christie and his friends, and another for the rest of us – both offensive and irresponsible”.
