‘Merciless’ heat, humidity sticks to most of U.S.
The National Weather service said a coming heat wave could bring the highest temperatures of the summer, starting tomorrow. Highs will top out in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Much of the country will feel scorching temperatures over the next few days, according to weather prediction maps published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The heat advisory remains in effect from 2 p.m. today through 8 p.m. Friday.
