Detroit Lions place three players on PUP list
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list due to the knee injury he suffered late last season.

Pettigrew tore his left anterior cruciate ligament late past year and finished the season with only seven catches. He caught a career-low seven passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.
A player assigned to the preseason PUP list can be removed at any time and participate in training camp practices. If Pettigrew can not recover in time for the regular season, he may be a candidate for the regular season PUP list.
Wide receiver Corey Fuller, who underwent foot surgery, was also added to the list.

Robinson’s injury or reason to be on the list hasn’t been disclosed by the Lions. It’s been speculated since the spring that Pettigrew might land on reserve/PUP to open the season, which would cost him the first six games.
