The Walking Dead: Season Seven Premiere Date and Trailer Released
“It’s definitely not the season 6 premiere in terms of quarries with 40,000 walkers in it”, Nicotero, who also serves as executive producer of the show, told Entertainment Weekly in an interview.

“Sometimes to change the picture that you usually see on screen can ruffle people, because it’s change”, Gurira said, adding, “I hope and believe that it will help break that barrier and allow more of those portrayals to be expressed”.
As further explained by the executive producer, “Every single season premiere is different”.
“It’s a really shitty start to the season” for the characters, Lincoln said but promised that things will get better for them down the line.
This character is going to be played by Khary Payton on the series, and per executive producer Scott M. Gimple, Payton won the team over, despite not necessarily looking identical to his comic-book version, thanks mostly to his passion and personality: “When I showed his audition to Robert [Kirkman], Robert went bananas”.
Earlier today we reported on the new The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer that was released yesterday alongside the panel at Comic-Con, and we’re first introduced to King Ezekiel and his pet tiger. The trailer also features Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his bloodied bat, which he used on someone in the season finale.
This one (below), is for the Walking Dead’s upcoming season 7, and it looks extremely intense and very interesting as Rick and company are spotted having to yield to Negan’s vicious rules!
A new trailer for season 7 of AMC’s The Walking Dead made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, along with confirmation that the post-zombie apocalypse drama will be making its return on October 23.
