Presidential Polls: How Do Approval Ratings Look After The First

Soon after the interview aired, RedState’s Erick Erickson booted Trump from the event’s Saturday lineup.

He was back on TV Friday morning, telling the morning talk shows he couldn’t recall insulting women in the past – rejecting the premise of a debate question posed by Fox News’ Megyn Kelly.

Trump was disinvited from a prominent conservative forum Saturday in Atlanta because of disparaging comments he made about Megyn Kelly, the Fox News moderator who had asked him tough questions in the debate.

Trump, who has a big lead in Republican polls, found himself on the defensive over his abrasive comments about immigrants and political rivals, his occasional disparagement of women, his commitment to the Republican Party, and the evolving nature of his views on abortion and other issues. “Blood coming out of her wherever”.

Erickson said in a statement Friday that while he likes Trump personally, “I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal”. The governor said that while he believes in traditional marriage, the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of same-sex marriage and “we’ll accept it”, adding he recently went to a gay friend’s wedding.

Trump, in keeping with his modus operandi, was as defiant as ever, claiming that he meant that blood was coming out of her nose – and not suggesting that Kelly was on her menstrual cycle. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, took some shots at Trump over his ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton and his supposed flip-flopping on a single-payer health care system. Do we want to have the ability to protect our country from just unlawful mass migration? Yes. “We have to all get back to work and stop wasting time and energy on nonsense!”

Donald Trump has unloaded on Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly.

Kelly didn’t smile. She said it was more than just O’Donnell. “But I wouldn’t do that”. Carly Fiorinia’s late-Friday night Twitter response was a succinct “I stand with @megynkelly” tweet, followed by “Mr. Trump: There. Is”.

“She is totally overrated and angry”, Trump wrote. Another candidate, Senator Lindsey Graham, applauded Erickson for revoking Trump’s invitation and said, “Enough already with Mr. Trump”.

Shortly before Erickson’s statement, Trump’s campaign had just put out a media advisory with the schedule for Trump’s appearance.

“I am a sinner like everyone else and have said some really dumb, stupid things in my life and had to apologize for them”, Erickson told host Linda Wertheimer. Marco Rubio; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker; real estate magnate Donald Trump; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee; Texas Sen.

As they prepared to address the Red State Gathering in Atlanta, the Republican candidates also began assessing their situations in the aftermath of Thursday’s debate.

The former technology executive impressed many in the party with her sharp, forceful performance before the prime-time debate, but it’s not clear who she might dislodge from the top 10.
