Taylor Swift files a police report against Kanye West

Kim reportedly made a decision to act because she didn’t want people thinking Kanye is a “liar” after Taylor previously insisted she had never given her approval to the song.

Rumors have been flying around that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may face going to prison for leaking the tape of Taylor Swift discussing the lyrics to Kanye’s track, “Famous”. In the video, Swift is heard approving lyrics in West’s song “Famous” that she later claimed to be offended by.

Swift went to Twitter a few nights ago and addressed Kim K trying to expose her secret chat with Yeezy about “Famous”.

However despite the phone call being recorded seemingly without her permission, California privacy laws mean that Swift won’t be able to sue Kanye or Kim. She reportedly wants everyone to hear that Kanye never said he’d call her a “bitch” in the song “Famous”.

TMZ says that when Swift learned about the recording last February, her attorneys sent West a letter demanding that it be destroyed.

While there is no reference to the phrase “that bitch”, she is heard saying it is “like a compliment”. Heads up: I give no f*** and never will. Thanks.

However, the 26-year-old’s released a statement saying, “you can not approve a song you haven’t heard”. “You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b****’ in front of the entire world”. But because West apparently didn’t inform Swift that he was recording the call, he may have broken USA federal wiretapping law.

The two singers have been linked ever since West interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 VMAs.
