It’s become a bit easier for Hillary Clinton to formally claim the nomination at the upcoming Democratic National Convention.

Kaine and Clinton officially joined forces ahead of the Democratic National Convention which kicks off Monday in Philadelphia, where they will be elevated as the official nominees to the party’s presidential ticket.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, her vice-presidential running mate will launch a bus tour of two critical battlegrounds – Pennsylvania and Ohio – following this week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Sanders tells NBC’s “Meet the Press,” that Kaine is a “very, very smart guy” and a “very nice guy” but wouldn’t have been his vice presidential choice.
Asked if he is ready to be president, Kaine said: “I’m ready first to be a supportive vice president so that the presidency of Hillary Clinton is is a fantastic one”.
“We both grew up in the Midwest, we were raised by fathers who ran small businesses”, says Clinton.
But in a nod to party liberals, the Clinton campaign said Kaine will not support the final version of the 12-nation Trans Pacific Partnership, which is pending in the Senate. Bernie supporters are outraged, was their last choice.
President Barack Obama warmly welcomed Kaine to the Democratic ticket for November’s general election. “RIGGED”, the bombastic real estate developer tweeted Saturday. “When we’re together, we’re stronger”, Kaine said making a strong pitch for Clinton.
Kaine said that voters should judge politicians by examining their biographies to “see if they have a passion in their life long before they got into politics. a passion that’s not about themselves”. Many of those present were Hispanic, and Kaine displayed his fluent Spanish, acquired when he worked in Honduras during a break from law school. “I like to fight for right”, he said. That means faith, family and work.
Also Sunday, Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, were back at their longtime church in Richmond, Virginia, a day after he made his campaign debut with Clinton. “I’m going to talk about what he’s done, how he has hurt people in business time after time after time”.
“Hillary Clinton, she doesn’t insult people, she listens to them”.
“Behind that smile is a backbone of steel”, said Clinton, in introducing Kaine to a crowd of more than 5,000 supporters at Florida International University. “I think I was 14 when Watergate happened and a president was impeached”. Clinton has chosen Kaine to be her running mate.
Kaine as Virginia governor from 2006 to 2010 forged close ties with the state’s Jewish community, which has grown rapidly in its Washington suburbs. He pledged that “Hillary and I will not rest” until the US establishes a system of universal background checks and closes loopholes that allow criminals and terrorists to gain access to firearms. “We have North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, and we have many countries that aren’t paying for what they’re supposed to be paying, which is already too little, but they’re not paying anyway”.
