Amid Wikileaks fallout, some Sanders’ supporters don’t think Democrats should nominate Clinton
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced her resignation Sunday following a massive email leak that exposed DNC officials favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. “As Party Chair, this week I will open and close the Convention and I will address our delegates about the stakes involved in this election not only for Democrats, but for all Americans”, Wasserman Schultz added. In some good news for Mrs Clinton, “The New York Times” reported that businessman and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will endorse her in a prime-time speech today, saying she will be the best choice for moderate voters in 2016.

Wasserman Schultz, a congresswoman from Florida, reiterated her intention to be a surrogate for Clinton in the presidential campaign, but said her five-year stint leading the Democratic National Committee was over.
The emails reveal attempts to sideline Bernie Sanders in the primaries and have now led to the resignation of DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. “Wasserman Schultz’s emails only put the Democratic Party at risk, but Hillary Clinton’s emails put all of America at risk”.
Wasserman Schultz said she would “step down as party chair at the end of this convention” but expressed hope that all party supporters would rally behind the event. Overnight, throngs of Sanders fans marched down a main thoroughfare to show their support for him and disdain for Clinton.
Billy Taylor, 31, organiser of an anti-Clinton march, said: “Bernie was robbed”.
When asked if the emails show bias by the DNC against Sanders, Hinojosa said, “I read the emails, I didn’t see that”. I think you’re going to have more people on the same page. Tim Kaine of Virginia as her running mate.
Seth Berner, a Sanders delegate from Portland, said he remains impressed with Sanders and what he accomplished during the presidential primaries and caucuses. With many of his campaign planks included in the Democratic platform, Sanders endorsed Clinton earlier this month and will speak at the convention Monday night.
“No I will not vote for Hillary”, said Sorhus.
The leaked emails angered Mr Sanders’ supporters, hundreds of whom took to the streets of Philadelphia on Sunday to voice their discontent.

Brazille, who is vice chair of the DNC, has been named interim chair through the election. “Some Sanders supporters/endorsers will also begin to call for a concession and some may goes as far as moving their support to Clinton”.
