Multiple people are dead after a Dallas Cowboys tour bus and van collided on U.S. 93, between Kingman, Arizona, and Nevada, according to the Arizona Department of Safety.

Four Cowboys staff members – including a writer, a team mascot, a videographer and the bus driver – suffered only minor injuries, according to ABC Dallas affiliate, WFAA.

A Dallas Cowboys bus crashed Sunday in Arizona, killing at least one person.

“All on the bus came through OK with some bumps and bruises”, the Associated Press news agency quoted Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple as saying.

No players were on board the tour bus involved in the accident on a highway in the south-western state of Arizona.

The fatalities were passengers in the van, Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr said. People were already waiting when the president of a Las Vegas Cowboys fan club called to relay news of the accident.

The fan event was supposed to have 50-75 people and was scheduled for 3:00 pm but was cancelled in light of the crash.
