Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ 1st Day Collection At Box Office Is Freaking Insane!
After a record-breaking opening day with the collection of 21.5 crores, Kabali remained strong in Tamil Nadu and collected around 18 crores on Saturday.

For the first show in the city, hardcore superstar fans assembled outside cinema halls even before midnight to celebrate the release of the film.
Toppling the three Khans (Salman, Shah Rukh, Aamir) of Bollywood, Rajinikanth emerged as the victor on Saturday when the makers of “Kabali” announced that the film had made an opening collection of Rs 250 crore in the domestic market alone. The movie had got mixed review and the audience were completely impressed with the acting of Rajinikanth but the story was not good and was dragged as per the first-day talk.
Hundreds of thousands of fans of Indian superstar Rajinikanth thronged cinemas across India and Malaysia on Friday for the premiere of his latest film, “Kabali”, jumping from their seats and dancing in the aisles as their hero fought enemies in the gangster flick.
It’s been just two days since the release of superstar Rajinikanth’s film Kabali, and it’s already a big success. From RJs, to show producers everyone is seen coming up with some reason which can help them take a day’s off.
“It has earned approximately Rs 100 crore worldwide”, the statement added.
One company in Chennai said it was easier to allow employees the time off to avoid piled up leave requests to the HR department, while another in Bangalore said it wanted to pre-empt the “sick leaves, mobile switch-offs and mass bunks” by workers desperate to see Kabali.
The movie was released over 12,000 screens across India and as well as in the US, UK and Malaysia. Also, US, Canada, Malaysia and other former countries people attracting towards the Movie in very large number.
With most shows prebooked for the weekend, the film is expected to collect over Rs120 crore in the first weekend, a figure, which could not be verified independently.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who was on a vacation in United States, has returned to India on Sunday with his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush. The flavour, culture and dialogues are all peculiar to the Tamil community.Due to this, the makers of the film have made a decision to to give Bollywood the rights to make a full fledged Hindi remake of the film, that will apparently star Amitabh Bachchan.
