It was a blow to Hillary Clinton who arrives in the city eager to show off a united party after a tough campaign against Bernie Sanders.

There were other pro-Sanders rallies held across the nation today as well.
Sanders says he is not dropping out, but looking to use his delegates to change his party’s platform.

“Democratic party’s been colluding with Hillary and they’re just not being Democratic or fair or gave Bernie a chance… we’re here to show support for him”, said another. “We have to do what we have to do to keep Trump out of the White House”, she says. She said she plans to formally open and close the convention, as well as address delegates. The emails suggest DNC staffers favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primaries.
So are Californian supporters of the Vermont Senator still feeling the Bern, or just plain feeling burned by the emailing-swapping cabal at the center of the party’s national leadership?
Sanders appeared on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, calling the revelations “outrageous” but saying it was not “a big shock”.
Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon, a Sanders delegate, said he’s prepared to vote for Clinton.
Earlier this year, after Sanders and his campaign accused the DNC of not treating them fairly, Schultz insisted that the committee was “neutral” based on its rules and that she was working to “neutrally manage the primary”. Cabrera noted that, according to recent polls, Clinton is losing to Republican nominee Donald Trump in two swing states and tied in a third.
“He had been gamed”, said Trump.
“What happened with the choice of Tim Kaine was a slap in the face to Bernie Sanders and everybody”, he stated.
“I know that this week’s events will be a success thanks to her hard work and leadership”, Clinton said in a statement.
“I’m going to have to cross that bridge when we get there, and if the bridge is a “bernin”, the bridge is a “bernin”.
Sanders said he had not received a personal apology.

Ms Wasserman Schultz, a Florida congresswoman, resigned as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) after Mr Sanders urged her to go.
