The Sox also won the second game in the bottom of the 9th, when Melky Cabrera singled in Eaton. All three home runs were absolute no doubt home runs and came in a span of five batters. He scored the first run after singling to lead off the Sox first.
Yasmany Tomas chipped in a with a pair of solo home runs and Wellington Castillo had a three-run shot.
In Pittsburgh, Adam Frazier’s pinch-hit home run in the seventh inning powered the Pirates to a win.

I think it is safe to say that Chris Sale has pitched his last game in a Chicago White Sox uniform. Instead, Sale was sent home and reliever Matt Albers made the emergency start. He will be eligible to return Thursday…. Both served as the 26th man.

That gave the White Sox a four-game split against the playoff-contending Tigers.
