The boy was left inside a Honda Pilot at the Dallas Matu Christian Church in the 11000 block of Shiloh road, according to KXAS-TV.

Om says he was inside the church when he saw the father walk inside the sanctuary holding his son in his arms.

“It looked very bad”, Om said.

The National Weather Service says the high in Dallas on Sunday was 100 degrees. It is unclear how long the others had been in the church before the father realized one of his children was missing, and found the boy, unresponsive, in the swelteringly hot vehicle.
