Koulibaly’s future has been hotly disputed over the last few weeks, with both Chelsea and Everton reportedly interested in the defender.
The defender’s agent told Italian radio station Radio CRC: “Last Saturday I was in Dimaro [Napoli’s training base], we took stock of the situation and I am not aware that we are at the point of agreement”.
“The desire of the player is still to go, not to renew”.
However, Koulibaly’s agent has now claimed that the club are unwilling to match his contract demands, meaning he is likely to move on during the transfer window.
The Mirror claim that the Blues are set to press ahead with their interest in the Holland ace and could snap him up at around £15m – which is £30m less than Napoli are demanding for Koulibaly. Matic ready to fight Kante for Chelsea spot”We are told by the club that he is a great player but from the renewal on offer, we don’t see this”.
“They wanted to send us away a year ago, they said he wasn’t focused, but then he showed all his qualities in the past season”.
‘To the fans I say stay calm because he won’t be joining Juventus.
