The former ‘Top Gear’ presenter has now issued a statement to The Mirror, apologising to anyone who was “offended” by the photos, as well as for his “not robust” bladder.

He told Redbull.com: “It was like being a soldier parachuted into a war”.
After Chris Evans quit Top Gear after just one series in the driving seat, there has been great speculation as to who will replace him.
Before the show had even aired, Rory thought that many people were willing it to fail.
“It’s not just a TV show – it’s an institution”, he said.
He added: “Top Gear was one of the world’s iconic show and it’s a shame it came to this”.
Top Gear is expected to return to BBC Two next year.
BBC, if you’re listening, pleeeeaaaassseeee make this dream a reality!
Reid said he was taken aback by the level of criticism directed at the show and at Evans, who was given the job of reinventing the show after Clarkson was axed and he was followed out of the door by his co-presenters, Richard Hammond and James May.
Photos published by The Sun on Friday (July 22) show Evans urinating at the side of the M4 motorway with a friend before taking a drink from a bottle of Remy Martin cognac.
Meanwhile, Rory Reid has finally broken ranks to describe the difficulties of life on set with Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans. “The team are beyond brilliant, I wish them all the best”. “We’ll see what happens, but I expect it to be a pretty big change, and that things will be pretty different”.

“Not only does he eat, sleep, breathe and dream engines, propshafts and trail-braking, but the overwhelming quality that struck me about him is that he’s just such a pro”, the “Snowpiercer” star said.
