Killed in Crash Involving Dallas Cowboys Staff Bus
DallasCowboys.com columnist Mickey Spagnola, the team’s mascot and its videographer were on the bus, which was making promotional stops on its way from the Dallas area to Oxnard, Calif., where the team’s training camp begins Friday.

Four people died in a collision between a bus carrying Dallas Cowboys staff members and a van on Sunday. The bus was scheduled to be in Las Vegas on Sunday evening for a now-canceled event involving 50 to 75 fans, the AP reports.
Public safety officials said the four fatalities were all riding in the van.
The bus wasn’t carrying any Cowboys players.
The agency said it was a fatal crash but couldn’t immediately confirm the number of people killed. The vehicles collided Sunday afternoon on US 93 about 180 miles from Phoenix.
On his Twitter page, Spagnola tweeted before 2 p.m. that the bus was 80 miles outside of Vegas.
A Dallas Cowboys bus that collided with another vehicle in Arizona, killing at least one person, was heading to Las Vegas. The crash on U.S. 93, about 180 miles northeast of Phoenix, shut down at least one lane of the highway that serves as the main route between Las Vegas and Phoenix.
