Apple drastically altered its hardware cycle with the launch of the original iPad Pro in 2015 and iPhone SE in early 2016. The photos were sent by a “worker in Apple’s Asian supply chain”, according to the report. If this were to be the case, then iPad Pro second generation model should be released in November – well the 12.9-inch model anyway.

It’s not yet known when Apple will introduce the iPad Pro 2, but seeing as though they unveiled it during September’s iPhone event last September, we would presume that they will do the same this year during during the iPhone 7 unveiling. The model number is MH1C2CD/F, which is not assigned to any past or current iPad models. Model numbers can also easily be faked, and AppleInsider has not confirmed the authenticity of the leaked images.
While the current model was seen as a vast improvement over pervious versions because it offered a larger screen, superior hardware, and also the ability to use the new Apple Pencil, it is far from ideal.
Amidst rumors that Apple has axed the launch of the next Air series tablet, it is reported that the iPad Air 3 device might be released in few months’ time.
Of course, falsifying a device identifier would not be impossible, so the publication can not guarantee the authenticity of this leak and information. The slate seems to have only 12 GB of native storage, for instance, which would be the minimum for loading an OS and applications for hardware debugging and internal testing. This device will also reportedly come with the latest A10 chipset, which would make it one of Apple’s top products if ever it does get released and the rumors hold true.

No other information is now available at this point, as the images offer no additional details regarding screen size, design, hardware features or anything else. That being said, we should note that as far as iPad Pro 2 rumors are concerned, there hasn’t been much information on that front.
